Some Offcuts

Here's the last clip I'll be posting before the premiere on Wednesday. See you there.

Our Mate Anthony Demascio

For various reasons Anthony's footage was not included in the main feature. Here's an edit that I did last night of his best stuff.

N.B it's a 75Mb file, so perhaps the flash or mpora versions are a smarter choice?

Square One Premiere

It's here.

Self Blog!

Every so often I feel compelled to shamelessly peddle my own dismal life over the internet. Anybody that knows me knows that I'm strictly a fan of simple, stylish skateboarding. Not being one to practise what I preach, here's me directly contradicting my views of good skateboarding by performing a disgusting comedy tech trick. I hate my fickleness.

P.S camera handy-work by the all around handyman Sam Taylor.

Henry beat us to it

Me and my mate Sam went to Stockwell to totally avoid the bandwagon and do one of those Kingpin 10 tricks, but Henry had already done one so we thought fuck it, I'll waste my time filming one anyway. I hate my life.

Ah shit

Moving into a house is real stressful and time consuming, so I've had no internet or time to do this thing. The gears are in motion though and soon enough you'll be watching the video. I can't believe how long this has dragged on for either, I must be bloody rubbish.

When will this mile end?

Indeed. I'm not even going to pretend to have to excuse myself for posting more Mile End footage, simply because it's Shaun. Nor should I have to qualify that statement. Josh is on the end grinding a mile.

The Beginning

Of the end, so to speak. I'm putting the video together now but progress is still continuing on the streets, just at a slightly reduced rate. I filmed Boots do this the other day when we were squandering one of our last filming sessions together at Mile End. When all this shit is finished I can't wait to not feel guilty about going to a skatepark, roll on September.

Josh Cox

Josh performs good tricks on his skateboard.

Real smooth...

So you're in the way, just tuck and roll - problem solved. This clip tickled me a great deal so I thought I would share it.

Also, head over to the Vans website and watch the featured video to see Knox being good around London, alongside other Vans riders.

'Why is the Last Mile the Hardest Mile?'

- My throat was dry, with the sun in my eyes.

Final weeks of filming and so I've been desperate to be more attentive to what's happening away from computers. Negotiations with skateboarders, with Isis and with myself. Yes, everybody is dragging their heels at the moment when it should be all hands on deck.

Subsequently my update today is just me stealing (and kindly recaptioning) some photographs from Rob Shaw's photoblog that happen to feature skateboarders to whom I've attached myself to.

Steve Murphy - Chameleonic nosestall

Josh Cox - An ode to Craig Smedley - Back blunt manual

Sam Taylor - Supercool boneless

Josh Cox - Nollie 360 shuv thread the needle

A solitary idiot this time

This was intended as a genuine trick for his section but ended up being a bit weird. Josh also stuck his head under a bus to retrieve his board once - 'survival of the fittest' indeed.

Happy Sunday

Here are some idiots.

Nice shirt, buddy!

We were all hungover, tired and in possession of the nastiest shirt to ever escape the bin. Cue a 'looked better in our heads we promise' Hawaii themed edit. Stoked.
